MIME - Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions
A specification to define the formatting of bound data when you transfer them over the Internet by e-mail. The same MIME is used to pass information about the format of the HTTP message body. Servers indicate the MIME Content-Type headers that tell the client what format is the enclosed content. MIME is specified in the format type/subtype.
